‘Dark Moon: The Blood Altar’ And ENHYPEN Coming To San Diego Comic-Con

Vampire cosplayers and K-pop fans, THIS IS YOUR TIME!

Following their BLOOD SAGA World Tour show in San Diego on the Tuesday before Comic-Con, K-pop stars ENHYPEN are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year – and they’re fully fanged to celebrate their webtoon and anime Dark Moon: The Blood Altar.

Like many K-pop groups, ENHYPEN has its own lore, centered on them as former knights-turned-vampires and their love for a mortal (who represents their fanbase, ENGENES). They recently turned their love into a vampire – breaking a forbidden law – and must flee, which is the center of their album, The Sin: Vanish.

Now, with Dark Moon, it still fits in their lore of the supernatural, where they are still in this world with vampires and werewolves. The Dark Moon concept has been conveyed through their concept films, music videos, HYBE’s webcomic, and most recently, the animated series.

An X (formerly known as Twitter) account was created for “DARK MOON VAMPS,” hinting at the members – Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-Ki – making an appearance at the international comic convention, which is from July 23 to July 26. Now that the news is out, ENHYPEN is doing more than just showing up for a panel.

At the convention center, there will be a Dark Moon: The Blood Altar booth (No. 4129) filled with goodies and surprises for fans to check out.

Although the panel date has not been confirmed, the members and the team behind the webcomic will be on it to chat about their upcoming plans. There will definitely be some sneak-peek content from Dark Moon: The Blood Altar.

ENHYPEN also plans an off-site event, “DARK MOON BLOOD NIGHT.” It will be exclusively for fans. As the dates get closer, they will reveal just how you can get in.

The story of Dark Moon: The Blood Altar is a fantasy romance story centered on Sooha, a young schoolgirl with superhuman strength who transfers to the prestigious, supernatural-hating Decelis Academy. She meets the ENHYPEN members, each of whom is hiding the fact that they are vampires with unique powers. As they swore to protect her, they began to feel drawn to her and follow her wishes. After a person is murdered – and it looks like a vampire did it, Sooha finds herself in conflict between the vampires and the werewolves group. She must figure out how to navigate through this dangerous supernatural.

More details will emerge as the days get closer to the event. ENHYPEN at San Diego Comic-Con for Dark Moon: The Blood Altar. Be on the lookout for updates here. San Diego Comic-Con will begin on Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26, to the San Diego Convention Center.
