Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif Enters the Holy Kaaba
- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistani delegation performed Umrah in Makkah on Friday, 7 August 2026.
- The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Attaullah Tarar.
- Security barriers were placed around the Kaaba as the door was opened for the Prime Minister’s visit.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif led a Pakistani delegation in performing Umrah in Makkah on Friday morning. The group entered the Holy Kaaba after completing the Umrah rituals.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Senator Mohammed Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Attaullah Tarar.

Security barriers were placed around the Kaaba ahead of the visit, and its door was opened for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the delegation. The group was given a special visit inside the Kaaba following their Umrah.
