BTS Sends Multiple Smashes To Several Charts In A Huge Week For The Band
Three BTS tunes — “Come Over,” “Normal” and “Dynamite” — return to the same two sales charts in the U.K., with “Normal” becoming a new No. 1 on the lists. BTS is enjoying one of its most exciting weeks on the music charts in the United Kingdom in quite some time. The K-pop boy band scores new No. 1 hits on multiple rankings and sends several smashes back to various tallies at once.
The group recently selected “Normal” as the second official single from Arirang, which arrived this spring following a years-long hiatus. BTS initially promoted the album with “Swim,” which spent months rising and falling on charts around the world. Now, the focus is on “Normal.”
The tune becomes a bestseller again following the band’s performance – of a different song, but the publicity clearly helped – during the World Cup’s first halftime show. Several other fan favorites also reappear, allowing BTS to return to some of the same rosters with three different hits.
BTS Returns With Three Bestselling Singles
“Normal,” “Dynamite” and “Come Over” all return to both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts this week. The two rankings focus on purchases, though the former counts only digital downloads, while the latter combines those transactions with sales on physical formats like CD and vinyl.
“Normal” performs best among the bunch, reentering both lists at No. 1. “Dynamite” follows at Nos. 32 and 33 on the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, respectively. “Come Over” also finds its way back to the two purchase-focused rosters inside the lower half of the rundowns.
BTS Has Scored Eight Download Charts No. 1s
All three returning tracks have reached No. 1 on the Official Singles Downloads chart. “Normal” becomes BTS’s eighth champion on the ranking as it reenters in the top space. The tune originally debuted at No. 33 in early April before disappearing.

BTS Collects a Seventh Sales List No. 1
“Normal” also reaches the throne on the Official Singles Sales chart for the first time. The song returns at No. 1 after initially debuting at No. 35 –barely inside the top 40 – in April.
The smash is now BTS’s seventh champion and eighteenth top 10 on the most competitive sales roster in the U.K. “Dynamite” has also ruled the ranking, while “Come Over” narrowly missed becoming a leader. “Come Over” peaked at No. 3 on the Official Singles Sales chart.

BTS Charts Two Songs for Only a Second Week
Both “Normal” and “Come Over” appear on the two sales rankings for only the second time. “Normal” debuted in early April, when Arirang was still brand new, and then quickly vanished from both lists.
“Come Over” was initially available only on the vinyl deluxe edition of Arirang. BTS later released the song widely through streaming services and digital download stores in late June, and it became an instant bestseller.
BTS Also Returns to the Main Singles Chart
Among the three songs that reappear on the sales lists in the U.K., only “Normal” also reaches a third ranking. The single returns to the Official Singles chart – the main songs tally in the nation – at No. 36. It quickly becomes another top 40 success for BTS. “Normal” debuted at No. 74 in April, one week after it first reached the two sales rosters.
BTS Climbs Again With “Swim”
A fourth BTS tune is also a chart success in the U.K. this week, though it doesn’t mount a comeback. “Swim” rises 10 spaces to No. 52 on the Official Physical Singles chart. The Arirang lead single debuted at No. 1 on the format-specific ranking in April and spent several weeks inside the top 10. It most recently returned to the roster in the middle of July and is now climbing again.
