Robelis Despaigne is the easiest fight to make, and it’s more likely the next one for Ngannou. MVP’s heavyweight pipeline now centers on Ngannou, and the booking options open immediately.
There’s also the question of whether MVP creates some form of pseudo-title structure. Ngannou is already the lineal heavyweight champion based on legacy criteriaand MVP could lean into that branding to position him as the centerpiece of their entire heavyweight division. Whatever direction they pick, this performance gave them maximum leverage.

The Ngannou KO is the second highlight-reel finish on the main card, following Despaigne’s first-round destruction of Junior dos Santos in the main-card opener.
