18-Year-Old Muslim Dies Whilst Helping Strangers – ilmfeed
18-year-old Habib Dwabe who had recently graduated high school was driving home with friends when they came across a crash in Fort Worth, Texas.
Habib didn’t know the people involved, but he stopped anyway. He pulled over and got out of the car to help those involved in the crash.
Within minutes, another vehicle crashed into the scene and struck Habib. His friends rushed to help him, but sadly, it was too late. Habib died at the scene.
Fort Worth Police arrested a 27-year-old driver and charged him with intoxication manslaughter.
Investigators are continuing to look into the circumstances of the crash.
Those who knew Habib say helping others was simply part of who he was. He was described as kind, lively and someone who couldn’t walk past a person in need without stopping to help.
Habib had only just graduated and was just 18 years old. His family is now grieving a young man who lost his life while trying to help people he didn’t even know.
