Paul Thomas Anderson’s comedy drama “One Battle After Another“ took home six awards at Britain’s equivalent to the Oscars on Sunday.

“One Battle After Another.” “Anybody that says movies aren’t any good anymore just can [expletive] right off, because this is a great [expletive] year.” “Now I’m meant to open the envelope, which is not easy with paws, so please bear with me. The slightly sticky BAFTA goes to ‘Boong.” “And the BAFTA goes to Robert Aramayo from ‘I Swear.’ “Wow. I absolutely can’t believe this. I can’t believe that I’m looking at people like you. And I’m in the same category as you. Never mind that I’m stood here.” “Good evening. Tourette’s syndrome is a disability. And the tics you have heard tonight are involuntary, which means the person who has Tourette’s syndrome has no control over their language. We apologize if you were offended.” “This is nuts. This really does belong to the women past, present and future that have taught me and continue to teach me how to do it differently.
