Operational Plan for Ramadan 2026 at Two Holy Mosques Launched


A detailed operational plan for Ramadan 1447 AH (2026) has been launched by the Presidency for Religious Affairs.

The strategy focuses on seven objectives, including enriching the pilgrim experience and utilizing modern technology. Implementation will involve over 850 personnel and include 100 new initiatives and projects.

The General Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched its integrated operational plan for the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH (2026).

The plan is designed to prepare a strategy based on moderation, balance, and technological advancement.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs, explained that the plan was developed with a comprehensive methodology, anticipating the needs of the diverse global visitors.

He outlined seven core strategic objectives: improving and enriching the pilgrim experience, teaching the Quran and Sunnah, consolidating the Kingdom’s religious leadership, advancing translation and linguistic services, developing human resources, and leveraging modern technology and digital transformation for global outreach.

The plan will be activated through seven strategic programs across ten operational tracks.

These include academic, outreach, media, and digital transformation tracks, as well as specialized tracks for women’s affairs, translation, and volunteer services.

Dr. Salem bin Ali Arijah, Supervisor of Media and Communication, stated the plan represents a qualitative leap in religious media, focusing on transforming services into professional, human-interest stories to convey the message of the Two Holy Mosques globally.

The plan encompasses 100 high-quality operational initiatives. Notable new projects include the “Hackathon Guidance” for tech innovation, the “Hidayah Center,” the “Ijlal Exhibition,” the launch of new digital platforms, and the expansion of translation services into over 40 languages.

Implementation will be managed by an integrated team of more than 850 personnel, including imams, preachers, teachers, and muezzins.
