Nvidia-backed Reflection AI seeks $25 bln valuation, WSJ reports By Investing.com
Investing.com– -backed startup Reflection AI is seeking a valuation of about $25 billion in a new funding round, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Reflection AI is in talks to raise about $2.5 billion in fresh funding, in a deal that would more than triple its prior valuation of roughly $8 billion, the report said.

The startup is part of a group of companies working closely with Nvidia to build “open-source” AI models that can be freely used and adapted by businesses, governments, and research institutions.
The effort is aimed at countering increasingly advanced AI offerings from China, with Reflection positioned as a key player in building a U.S.-led open AI ecosystem, the WSJ report said.
is in discussions to participate in the round through its security-focused investment initiative, while existing investor Disruptive is also expected to join, according to the report.
Reflection, founded in 2024, has already raised more than $2 billion and is pursuing partnerships to develop localized AI systems, including projects focused on sovereign AI infrastructure for U.S. allies, the report added.
