Loose kangaroo bounces into trouble by Florida pool

An escaped kangaroo was reunited with its owners by sheriffs after it was spotted hopping around the pool area of a Florida apartment complex.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released thermal video shot from a helicopter of the kangaroo, and audio of someone describing a “kind of large kangaroo” on the loose.

It is legal to keep kangaroos in Florida as long as they are properly registered and the owner follows stringent procedures.
