Hypocrites Dig Their Own Graves
In their zealous quest to “purify” the community, hypocrites often end up exposing the very corruption they pretend to oppose. They campaign for orthodoxy, demand loyalty, and push boundaries that God Himself never ordained. But in doing so, they are not safeguarding the religion—they are undermining it. The harder they push for ideological conformity, the more clearly they reveal their own hypocrisy. They dig, and dig, and dig—until the grave swallows them whole.
Gatekeeping the Gates of God
Hypocrites often present themselves as the gatekeepers of truth—deciding who is “correct” enough to lead prayer, or “pure” enough to be called a believer. But these aren’t spiritual leaders—they are spiritual tyrants. And their delusion is nothing new.
Like Qãroon, they are blessed by God with certain provisions—skills in speech, organizational power, influence, charisma, access to a large community of believers on Discord—and rather than use these blessings to uplift others, they use them to dominate and divide. They forget the source of their power and claim credit for themselves.
[28:76] Qãroon (the slave driver) was one of Moses’ people who betrayed them and oppressed them. We gave him so many treasures that the keys thereof were almost too heavy for the strongest band. His people said to him, “Do not be so arrogant; GOD does not love those who are arrogant.
[28:77] “Use the provisions bestowed upon you by GOD to seek the abode of the Hereafter, without neglecting your share in this world. Be charitable, as GOD has been charitable towards you. Do not keep on corrupting the earth. GOD does not love the corruptors.”
[28:78] He said, “I attained all this because of my own cleverness.” Did he not realize that GOD had annihilated before him generations that were much stronger than he, and greater in number? The (annihilated) transgressors were not asked about their crimes.
Rather than attribute the credit to God, they revel in their own cleverness. Like Qãroon, they come out “in full splendor,” enjoying the admiration of those who crave status and control.
[28:79] One day, he came out to his people in full splendor. Those who preferred this worldly life said, “Oh, we wish that we possess what Qãroon has attained. Indeed, he is very fortunate.”
[28:80] As for those who were blessed with knowledge, they said, “Woe to you, GOD’s recompense is far better for those who believe and lead a righteous life.” None attains this except the steadfast.
But God does not reward this arrogance forever. What they believe to be the pinnacle of success is often the brink of destruction.
[28:81] We then caused the earth to swallow him and his mansion. No army could have helped him against GOD; he was not destined to be a winner.
[28:82] Those who were envious of him the day before said, “Now we realize that GOD is the One who provides for whomever He chooses from among His servants, and withholds. If it were not for GOD’s grace towards us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us too. We now realize that the disbelievers never succeed.”
This is the fate of the hypocrite who forgets the Source. Qāroon’s downfall came not despite his wealth, but because of it—the very provision he boasted of became the instrument of his destruction. Likewise, those who take pride in their position—who believe that, because they usurped control of an online community of believers from its rightful stewards, they are somehow self-made—forget that it was God who granted them that reach, that audience, that platform. And just as the earth consumed Qāroon and his mansion, so too will their claim to fame consume them. The more they try to crush dissent and demand conformity, the more clearly they reveal their own tyranny.
[4:76] Those who believe are fighting for the cause of GOD, while those who disbelieve are fighting for the cause of tyranny. Therefore, you shall fight the devil’s allies; the devil’s power is nil.
In their crusade to root out hypocrisy from the community, they ended up revealing their own. What began as a campaign for “purity” quickly devolved into tyranny—marked by backdoor dealings, deception, and power grabs. They lied, manipulated, and cheated to seize control, all while claiming to defend God’s system. And when confronted, they did not repent—they played the victim.
They imagined they were cleansing the community. In reality, they were corrupting it. They thought they were exposing others, but God exposed them. The irony is complete: in trying to root out hypocrisy, they put their own hypocrisy on full display. Their own campaign became their downfall. Their words preached righteousness. Their actions betrayed it. And what God had given them as a trust, they weaponized. What should have humbled them, they turned into a throne.
The Behavior of Hypocrites
A recurring pattern among self-appointed leaders is their obsession with theological conformity. To them, hypocrisy is defined narrowly and conveniently: anyone who disagrees with their doctrinal positions becomes suspect. They measure sincerity by agreement. They reduce submission to compliance. And in doing so, they ignore the Quran’s overwhelming emphasis on hypocrisy of behavior—the kind that God actually condemns again and again.

While they hunt for ideological points of contention, the Quran points to traits like arrogance, deceit, double standards, divisiveness, and abuse of power. But these behavioral red flags are conveniently overlooked—especially when they reflect the very tactics being used.
Hypocrite Repels People From the Faith
Among the most dangerous aspects of hypocrisy is its repelling effect. The hypocrite, through harshness, arrogance, or contradiction, turns others away from God’s path:
[63:2] Under the guise of their apparent faith, they repel the people from the path of GOD. Miserable indeed is what they do.
[47:34] Those who disbelieve and repel from the path of GOD, then die as disbelievers, GOD will never forgive them.
[16:94] Do not abuse the oaths among you, lest you slide back after having a strong foothold, then you incur misery. Such is the consequence of repelling from the path of GOD (by setting a bad example); you incur a terrible retribution.
[58:16] They used their oaths as a means of repelling from the path of GOD. Consequently, they have incurred a shameful retribution.
If a person causes people to be repelled from Submission, they are hypocrites.
Hypocrites Are Divisive
Another defining trait of the behavioral hypocrite is their ability to fracture unity from within. Outwardly, they say the right words, profess loyalty, and insist, “We are with you.” But their true effect is not unity—it’s division. Their presence brings strife, tension, and loss of trust.
[9:56] They swear by GOD that they belong with you, while they do not belong with you; they are divisive (yafraquna) people.

Rather than building cohesion, they quietly stir unrest. They inject suspicion, pit believers against one another, and cloak discord in the language of righteousness. The Quran reveals that their participation among the believers in any collective effort only sows strife. Their commitment is not to truth or to unity, but to self-interest—and their influence weakens the very fabric they pretend to support.
[9:47] Had they (the hypocrites) mobilized with you, they would have created confusion, and would have caused disputes and divisions among you. Some of you were apt to listen to them. GOD is fully aware of the transgressors.
Hypocrites Thrive on Controversy Among Believers
Key traits of behavioral hypocrites are their perpetual search for controversial interpretations and use of new understanding to create fitna (strife/civil war) among believers. They use their new understanding as a demarcation line by which they will determine whether one can still be considered a submitter.
[3:7] He sent down to you this scripture, containing straightforward verses—which constitute the essence of the scripture—as well as multiple-meaning or allegorical verses. Those who harbor doubts in their hearts will pursue the multiple-meaning verses to create confusion (l-fit’nati), and to extricate a certain meaning (tawīlihi). None knows the true meaning thereof except GOD and those well founded in knowledge. They say, “We believe in this—all of it comes from our Lord.” Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.
Hypocrites Have A Chip on Their Shoulders
While sincere believers are described in the Quran as kind, gentle, and humble toward one another (52:26), the hypocrite behaves in the exact opposite way, and violates this ethic entirely. Rather than fostering love, patience, and unity among the faithful, they become hostile, suspicious, and aggressive toward their own community—especially toward those who challenge their authority or expose their contradictions.
[63:4] When you see them, you may be impressed by their looks. And when they speak, you may listen to their eloquence. They are like standing logs. They think that every call is intended against them. These are the real enemies; beware of them. GOD condemns them; they have deviated.
This verse is especially chilling. It warns that hypocrites often appear respectable—well-dressed, well-spoken, even charismatic. Worse, they are paranoid, interpreting every reminder, warning, or correction as a personal attack. And because of this fragile pride, they lash out, persecute, and divide. The Quran does not hesitate to identify them as “the real enemies”—not because of their open disbelief, but because of their corrosive influence within.
[33:60] Unless the hypocrites, and those with disease in their hearts, and the vicious liars of the city refrain (from persecuting you), we will surely grant you the upper hand, then they will be forced to leave within a short while.
This verse reveals that their hostility can escalate to full-blown persecution. These individuals—while pretending to belong—use slander, manipulation, and aggression to marginalize believers. But God makes it clear: if they do not stop, He will expose and remove them. Their dominance is temporary. Their schemes are doomed.
True believers are identified not by their titles, eloquence, or appearances—but by their compassion, humility, and restraint. The behavioral hypocrite, on the other hand, often speaks the loudest and acts the harshest—all while pretending to serve God.
[31:19] “Walk humbly and lower your voice – the ugliest voice is the donkey’s voice.”
Hypocrites Are Recognizable By Their Speech
The Quran acknowledges that while God alone knows what lies in the hearts, hypocrites often reveal themselves—not by their faces, but by their method of communication.
[47:30] If we will, we can expose them for you, so that you can recognize them just by looking at them. However, you can recognize them by the way they talk. GOD is fully aware of all your works.
This verse offers believers a subtle but powerful form of discernment: listen carefully. Hypocrites often betray their condition through the way they speak—through their harshness, their manipulation of religious language, their condescension toward others, and their obsession with controlling the narrative of who counts as righteous.
God is not asking us to read hearts—but He is showing us that those who are insincere will eventually reveal themselves through their speech, their tone, and their agenda.
Hypocrites Conspire Secretly
Another mark of the internal behavioral hypocrite is that they operate in the shadows. Their influence isn’t always public—it’s also whispered behind closed doors, where alliances are forged not for righteousness, but for division.
[4:114] There is nothing good about their private conferences, except for those who advocate charity, or righteous works, or making peace among the people. Anyone who does this, in response to GOD’s teachings, we will grant him a great recompense.
The Quran makes clear: secret meetings are only praiseworthy if their goal is peace, charity, or righteousness. Anything outside of that is suspect. When private conversations are used to undermine, slander, exclude, or divide—they are not innocent gatherings; they are spiritual violations.
[58:8] Have you noted those who were enjoined from conspiring secretly, then insist on conspiring? They conspire to commit sin, transgression, and disobedience of the messenger. When they come to you, they greet you with a greeting other than that decreed by GOD. They say inside themselves, “GOD will not punish us for our utterances.” Their only requital is Gehenna, wherein they burn; what a miserable destiny.
Despite being warned against such behavior, the hypocrites persist in secret scheming, convinced that the rules somehow don’t apply to them. They mask their meetings as concern for the faith, but in reality, they use these gatherings to justify ostracizing others, policing belief, and enforcing their own interpretations.
And they deceive themselves into thinking it’s righteous.
They believe their backchannel discussions are exempt from divine accountability. That their motives are pure. That their private criticisms, alliances, and condemnations are somehow in service to God—even as they disobey His clear command.
But the Quran leaves no room for such delusion. Secret plotting that breeds disunity is not overlooked. It is condemned—and punished. The hypocrite whispers, excludes, and conspires—not to strengthen the believers, but to weaken them from within.
They convince themselves their intentions are pure. They say it’s about “preserving the truth” or “protecting the community.” But the Quran exposes this delusion:
[9:107] There are those who abuse the masjid by practicing idol worship, dividing the believers, and providing comfort to those who oppose GOD and His messenger. They solemnly swear: “Our intentions are honorable!” GOD bears witness that they are liars.
This verse reveals just how far the hypocrisy can go. Even sacred spaces are weaponized by the behavioral hypocrite. The masjid—a place meant for unity, humility, and worship—is turned into a staging ground for control, sectarianism, and division. All while the hypocrites insist, “We mean well.” But God sees through the façade and calls it what it is: a lie.
Their behavior doesn’t just harm a few individuals—it corrodes the fabric of community. By dividing the believers, they isolate sincere souls, empower opposition, and make the religion appear harsh, divided, and hypocritical in the eyes of outsiders.
They are not builders of the faith—they are saboteurs in disguise. By forcing people into division, they are dragging people into idol worship.
[30:31] You shall submit to Him, reverence Him, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and—whatever you do—do not ever fall into idol worship.
[30:32] (Do not fall in idol worship,) like those who divide their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have.
Tyranny Dressed as Righteousness
Once a hypocrite gains influence, they do not use it to uplift or unite—they use it to control. They become moral tyrants, cloaking their domination in the language of righteousness. Their speech is polished, their references are scriptural, and their tone is urgent—but behind it all is a hunger for power, not a call to truth.
[2:204] Among the people, one may impress you with his utterances concerning this life, and may even call upon GOD to witness his innermost thoughts, while he is a most ardent opponent.
[2:205] As soon as he leaves, he roams the earth corruptingly, destroying properties and lives. GOD does not love corruption.
[2:206] When he is told, “Observe GOD,” he becomes arrogantly indignant. Consequently, his only destiny is Hell; what a miserable abode.
The reality is that these people do not fear God, and the Quran warns that they talk like saints but walk like destroyers. They invoke God’s name while causing harm. This isn’t a misunderstanding—it’s a method. The hypocrite appeals to your fear of being wrong, your desire to please God, and twists those noble instincts into chains of submission to them.
They demand allegiance, not understanding. They punish loyalty, not sin. Their style of “correction” resembles authoritarian policing more than brotherly advice. When they cannot persuade, they pressure. When they cannot lead, they exclude.
[3:118] O you who believe, do not befriend outsiders who never cease to wish you harm; they even wish to see you suffer. Hatred flows out of their mouths and what they hide in their chests is far worse. We thus clarify the revelations for you, if you understand.
The mask they wear is piety, but the fruit they bear is fear, gossip, and division. They are not guardians of the community—they are saboteurs who call it “reform.” And every time they wield religion to break others down, they betray their own lack of faith.
They may speak of God often. But it is not God they trust. It is their own authority. Their own brand. Their own interpretations. And for that, they cloak tyranny in the garb of truth—never realizing they’re just wrapping themselves in their own burial shroud.
Strawmaning and False Witness
When hypocrites are challenged, they rarely respond with honesty. Instead, they twist the opposing view into something absurd and dangerous—something that must be rejected and condemned. This is the strawman: a false version of someone’s argument, built for the sole purpose of tearing it down.
They say things like:
“They will allow the devil to lead the Salat.”
“They are promoting idol worship.”
“They are okay paying an atheist homeless person to lead their Friday Prayer.”
But no one actually said those things. These are not honest responses—they are fabrications. And the Quran calls this what it is: bearing false witness.
[4:135] O you who believe, you shall be absolutely equitable, and observe GOD, when you serve as witnesses, even against yourselves, or your parents, or your relatives. Whether the accused is rich or poor, GOD takes care of both. Therefore, do not be biased by your personal wishes. If you deviate or disregard (this commandment), then GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.
God commands us to be equitable, even when it hurts us personally. To misrepresent someone else’s view is not just an intellectual failure—it is a spiritual betrayal. It violates truth itself.
Strawmaning is the hypocrite’s favorite tactic because it allows them to dismiss others without actually addressing the issue. It creates an illusion of moral clarity while sidestepping the real discussion. And once the strawman is constructed, the hypocrite justifies slander, exclusion, and even emotional abuse as “defending the truth.”
But they are not defending truth—they are attacking it.
And each false accusation they hurl is another shovel of dirt on the grave they’re digging.
[24:15] You fabricated it with your own tongues, and the rest of you repeated it with your mouths without proof. You thought it was simple, when it was, according to GOD, gross.
The Quran doesn’t treat distortion as a minor issue. It equates it with serious spiritual corruption. When a person can no longer recognize the difference between criticism and slander, between disagreement and betrayal—they are no longer speaking from sincerity. They are speaking from fear, pride, and insecurity.
And in doing so, they do not protect the community.
They poison it.
Promises Mean Nothing: The Hypocrite’s Hollow Oath
A believer’s word is a bond. But for the hypocrite, words are just tools—useful when convenient, disposable when not. They will casually swear by God upon their claims while deep down being fully aware that they know they are being deceptive.
[63:2] Under the guise of their apparent faith [they use their oaths as a cover], they repel the people from the path of GOD. Miserable indeed is what they do.
1 ittakhadhū ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ They took 2 aymānahum أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْ their oaths 3 junnatan جُنَّةً (as) a cover / guise,
Hypocrites thrive on verbal posturing. They talk unity while plotting division. They preach truth while spreading slander. They swear loyalty until it costs them their platform. What matters isn’t integrity—it’s optics.
[9:56] They swear by GOD that they belong with you, while they do not belong with you; they are divisive people.
[2:9] In trying to deceive GOD and those who believe, they only deceive themselves without perceiving.
[2:10] In their minds there is a disease. Consequently, GOD augments their disease. They have incurred a painful retribution for their lying.
[2:11] When they are told, “Do not commit evil,” they say, “But we are righteous [reformers]!”
But God is not fooled by their revisionism.
Trading Guidance for Tyranny
The tragedy is not that hypocrites never had access to truth—it’s that they did. God entrusted them with guidance, provision, and the opportunity to lead with humility. But instead of becoming beacons of righteousness, they became enforcers of division.
[9:74] They swear by GOD that they never said it, although they have uttered the word of disbelief; they have disbelieved after becoming submitters. In fact, they gave up what they never had. They have rebelled even though GOD and His messenger have showered them with His grace and provisions. If they repent, it would be best for them. But if they turn away, GOD will commit them to painful retribution in this life and in the Hereafter. They will find no one on earth to be their lord and master.
Rather than using God’s grace to guide others, they use it to exalt themselves.
[4:49] Have you noted those who exalt themselves? Instead, GOD is the One who exalts whomever He wills, without the least injustice.
[4:50] Note how they fabricate lies about GOD; what a gross offense this is!
Rather than calling to God, they condemn in His name. The very knowledge meant to bring light becomes a weapon in their hands. What should have made them humble instead made them harsh.
[9:75] Some of them even pledged: “If GOD showered us with His grace, we would be charitable, and would lead a righteous life.”
[9:76] But when He did shower them with His provisions, they became stingy, and turned away in aversion.
[9:77] Consequently, He plagued them with hypocrisy in their hearts, till the day they meet Him. This is because they broke their promises to GOD, and because of their lying.
Ironically, when God showered them with blessings of an online community, they did not simply waste the blessing—they fractured it and corrupted it with suspicion and tyranny. They didn’t merely break promises—they betrayed guidance.
The hypocrite is not just untrustworthy—they are spiritually corroded. God says that because they broke their promises and lied, hypocrisy became embedded in their hearts. It became their default mode of operation.
They had light in their hands—and chose darkness.
They were given truth—and chose tyranny.
Weaponizing Salat
There may be no greater irony than turning Salat—the act designed to unite us in humility before God—into a tool of exclusion and division. Yet this is exactly what the hypocrite does. What God intended as a symbol of submission becomes a test of social allegiance. Instead of focusing on sincerity and devotion, they obsess over who is “qualified” to lead, not by God’s standards, but by their own narrow definitions of orthodoxy.
Rather than judging Salat by whether it is performed correctly and with sincerity, they judge it based on whether the person leading conforms to their specific theological views. The masjid becomes a courtroom, and prayer is no longer an act of unity, but a display of group loyalty. What should have been a moment of collective humility before God turns into a purity contest where righteousness is measured not by faith or good works, but by compliance.
The Quran makes God’s criteria for masjid attendance clear:
[9:18] The only people to frequent GOD’s masjids are those who believe in GOD and the Last Day, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and do not fear except GOD. These will surely be among the guided ones.
This verse does not add caveats about theological camps or group identity. It simply lists belief, practice, and reverence for God. But that’s not enough for the hypocrite. They add extra conditions. They say things like, “We cannot pray behind him—he’s a deviant,” or worse, “If you pray behind him, you are just as corrupt.” These statements are not rooted in submission to God, but in a desire to control who is allowed to lead and what nuanced beliefs are deemed acceptable.
Their concern was never about preserving the sanctity of prayer—it was about asserting dominance. They reduce the masjid to a battleground of influence, not a sanctuary for believers. And they always cloak their divisive behavior in sanctimonious language: “We’re protecting the religion,” they say, or, “We’re only standing for truth.” But God has already exposed this game.
[9:107] There are those who abuse the masjid by practicing idol worship, dividing the believers, and providing comfort to those who oppose GOD and His messenger. They solemnly swear: “Our intentions are honorable!” GOD bears witness that they are liars.
Even during the Prophet’s time, people misused places of worship to advance their own authority. They masked their corruption with claims of good intentions, but God called them what they truly were—liars. Today, when Salat is used to shame, exclude, or delegitimize others based on factional loyalty, it is a repetition of the same condemned behavior.
Salat was meant to realign hearts with God. But when abused by the hypocrite, it becomes a weapon to drive believers apart. And every time they wield it to harm instead of heal, they reveal who they truly are—not protectors of purity, but violators of sacred unity.
Becoming What They Once Opposed
Perhaps the most tragic and revealing sign of hypocrisy is not when someone fails to live up to their ideals—but when they become the very thing they once denounced. For many in the Submitter community, the foundation was a rejection of sectarianism, of blind following, of authoritarian control in the name of religion. It was a return to the Quran, a rejection of man-made clergy, and an insistence on judging by deeds, not by dogma.
But slowly, that spirit has eroded. The very people who once stood against religious policing have started building a system of their own—one that mimics the same authoritarian structure they claimed to escape. They decide who is a “real” Submitter and who is not. They surveil conversations, interrogate friendships, and turn minor disagreements into theological disqualifications. They treat the masjid like a courtroom and every difference of opinion like a crime against the faith.
It is a familiar playbook. The tactics—public shaming, social exclusion, purity tests, theological gatekeeping—are not new. They echo the same behaviors found in the most rigid, sectarian expressions of religion, and they do this under the guise of claiming that they are pledging allegiance to the messenger.
[63:1] When the hypocrites come to you they say, “We bear witness that you are the messenger of GOD.” GOD knows that you are His messenger, and GOD bears witness that the hypocrites are liars.
Yet, God warns us that these self-proclamations of allegiance are just ploys for their corruption.
[63:4] When you see them, you may be impressed by their looks. And when they speak, you may listen to their eloquence. They are like standing logs. They think that every call is intended against them. These are the real enemies; beware of them. GOD condemns them; they have deviated.
This is not evolution—it is regression. What began as a movement rooted in Quranic principles now risks becoming a sect of its own, defined not by submission to God but by submission to self-appointed gatekeepers. And it is precisely in their zealous enforcement of “purity” that they expose their deepest impurity. Because while they claim to be defending the truth, they are dismantling the very foundation it stands on.
They do not preserve unity—they fracture it.
They do not protect the faith—they monopolize it.
And in doing so, they reveal that their true allegiance is not to God, but to control.
The Grave They Dig
Hypocrites don’t need anyone to destroy them—they do it themselves. Every lie they tell, every promise they break, every distortion they spread, every act of division they commit—it all adds up. Their own actions are the shovel. Their self-righteousness is the handle. And with every thrust, they dig themselves deeper.
They believe they’re building something noble: a purified community, a righteous standard, a defense of God’s truth. But what they’re really constructing is a hole—one that isolates them from the very people they claim to protect, that cuts them off from the mercy they claim to uphold, and that turns the blessings God gave them into tools of self-destruction.
[9:109] Is one who establishes his building on the basis of reverencing GOD and to gain His approval better, or one who establishes his building on the brink of a crumbling cliff, that falls down with him into the fire of Hell? GOD does not guide the transgressing people.
[9:110] Such a building that they have established remains a source of doubt in their hearts, until their hearts are stilled. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.
And just like those who once looked at Qāroon with envy and admiration, there were many who hesitated to take a side—fence riders who thought, “Maybe they’re the ones standing up for the truth.” But when the consequences of the oppressors’ arrogance unfold for all to see—when the lies are exposed, the spiritual abuse is undeniable, and their behavior visibly contradicts their slogans—the illusion shatters. The masks fall. And those who once followed them in awe will, God willing, see them for what they truly are.
This is God’s system: the opposition must be allowed to reach the depths of depravity before the earth is removed from underneath them. It is not rushed. It is not reactionary. It is precise. They are given enough rope to hang themselves, enough influence to expose their true motives, and enough time to reveal that their devotion was never to God, but to themselves. What they speak may sound righteous—but it is all performance. What they build may appear solid—but it rests on a crumbling cliff. And in the end, they destroy themselves by their own schemes.
[6:123] We allow the leading criminals of every community to plot and scheme. But they only plot and scheme against their own souls, without perceiving.
[35:43] They resorted to arrogance on earth, and evil scheming, and the evil schemes only backfire on those who scheme them. Should they then expect anything but the fate of those who did the same things in the past? You will find that GOD’s system is never changeable; you will find that GOD’s system is immutable.
[48:6] And He will requite the hypocrite men and women and the idol worshiping men and women, for they have harbored evil thoughts about GOD. Their evil will backfire against them. For GOD is angry with them, condemns them, and has prepared for them Gehenna. What a miserable destiny!
They think their control proves they are right. They think their following justifies their tactics. They think their ability to shout others down is a sign of strength. But strength without sincerity is delusion. And a platform built on division is nothing but a trapdoor.
In their obsession with orthodoxy, they expose their own deviation. In their effort to purify, they poison. In their mission to exclude others, they exile themselves—from the spirit of the faith, from the mercy of the Quran, and from the very God they claim to serve.
So let them dig.
The grave they’re building isn’t for us.
It’s for them.
