Madonna fans only need to wait a few more weeks before the icon delivers Confessions IIthe long-awaited sequel to her Grammy-winning and career-altering album Confessions on a Dance Floorwhich arrived more than two decades ago. Throughout the spring of 2026, Madonna has worked hard at promoting the project, and she has already released three singles from the set.
Each and every one of the tunes from Confessions II have become chart hits in the United States and bestsellers on one of Billboard‘s dance tallies. The powerhouse musician sees the most recent of the trio, “Love Sensation,” arrive on a pair of rankings this week, and it immediately becomes one of Madonna’s highest-rising smashes on one tally – but also, at the same time, the only tune from her forthcoming album to miss leading the charge.
Madonna Debuts “Love Sensation” Inside the Top 10
“Love Sensation” is an instant bestseller on Billboard‘s Dance Digital Song Sales chartwhich lists the top-selling dance tunes when it comes to purchases made specifically on download platforms such as iTunes. “Love Sensation” opens at No. 3, thanks to a little more than 1,400 copies sold, according to Luminate.

The only two tracks that keep Madonna from another leader have already spent time at No. 1 on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart. Tame Impala and Blackpink singer Jennie return to the summit with “Dracula,” which only a few days ago sat at No. 3. That collaboration replaces “Go” by the Chemical Brothers, which dips from the top spot to No. 2.

Madonna has racked up 25 hits on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart, and almost exactly half of those tunes have spent time within the top 10. “Love Sensation” marks the legendary artist’s twelfth trip to the highest tier on the ranking.

“Love Sensation” Misses No. 1 – a First for Her New Album
As it opens at No. 3, “Love Sensation” becomes Madonna’s first track from Confessions II to miss out on leading the Dance Digital Song Sales ranking. “I Feel So Free,” the first of the trio, opened up in the top spot in early May. A week later, “Bring Your Love,” a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, launched on the same roster, and the following frame it shot straight to No. 1.
Madonna first reached the top spot on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart three years ago. She teamed up with British singer Sam Smith, and the two launched “Vulgar” at No. 1, though the single would only spend one frame on the tally.
“Love Sensation” Becomes One of Madonna’s Biggest Hits
“Love Sensation” immediately becomes Madonna’s fifth highest-rising hit on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart. As it arrives, it trails her three No. 1s – “I Feel So Free,” “Bring Your Love” with Carpenter and “Vulgar” with Smith – as well as “Levitating.” Madonna hopped on board a remix of Dua Lipa’s smash, which topped out at No. 2 in the summer of 2020.
Madonna Charts Three Singles on Billboard Rankings
Sadly, “Love Sensation” only manages to debut on two rankings, both of which focus entirely on purchases. The Confessions II single misses general rosters like the Billboard Hot 100, both global rosters published by the company, the Streaming Songs tally, a number of additional dance and electronic lists and all airplay rundowns. “Love Sensation” does open at No. 16 on the Digital Song Sales chartwhich does not focus on any one style of music. “Love Sensation” ties with both “Vulgar” with Smith and Madonna’s own “Like a Prayer,” which likewise climbed to No. 16.
“Bring Your Love” and “I Feel so Free” Chart Together
Both of her previous two Confessions II singles appear on Billboard rosters as “Love Sensation” debuts. “I Feel So Free” drops 10 spaces to No. 15 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. “Bring Your Love” returns to that roster at No. 37, missing out on tying its all-time high by one space. The Carpenter collaboration holds at its peak position of No. 26 on the Pop Airplay tally and dips one rung to No. 22 on the Adult Pop Airplay register.
