What Time Does ‘Paradise’ Season 2 Begin Streaming This Week?


Paradisestarring Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden, returns this week with Season 2.

Paradise Season 1 premiered on Hulu on Jan. 26, 2025, and ran for eight episodes. A sci-fi drama, the series finds a U.S. Secret Service agent, Xavier Brooks (Brown)investigating the mysterious death of former U.S. President Cal Brooks (Marsden) in an unusual community.

The logline for Paradise Season 2 reads, “Xavier searches for Teri (Enuka Okuma) out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of Season 1, and new secrets are uncovered about the city’s origins.”

Paradise Season 2 also stars Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans. Recurring guest stars in Paradise Season 2 include Shailene WoodleyThomas Doherty and Jon Beavers.

Paradise Season 2 begins streaming on Hulu on Disney+ on Monday, Feb. 23, at 3 a.m. PT/12 p.m. with Episodes 1-3.

The remainder of Paradise Season 2’s eight episodes will be released one at a time on a weekly basis, beginning on Monday, March 2, with Episode 4. Season 2 of Paradise will be released on Monday, March 30.

How Are Critics Receiving ‘Paradise’ Season 2?

As of Sunday, Paradise Season 2 has earned an 89% “fresh” critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer based on 28 reviews. The RT Critics Consensus, Popcornmeter score and audience summary are still pending.

Michel Ghanem of The Wrap is among the top critics on RT who gives Paradise Season 2 a “fresh” score, writing, “The sophomore return of Paradise proves it has plenty of gas left in the tank, and its writers smash on the plot gas pedal this season for nonstop delight.”

Tim Glanfield of The Times (UK) also deems Paradise Season 2 fresh, writing on RT“As season two unfolds, the secrets deep below the surface grow darker, the tension ratchets to new levels at each revelation. It may begin in Graceland. But by the time things move on, you can’t help falling in love with this show all over again.”

Nick Schager or The Daily Beast is among the top critics on RT who gives Paradise Season 2 a “rotten” score, writing, “This once-tantalizing show appears to have permanently lost its way.”

Clint Worthington of RogerEbert.com also gives Paradise Season 2 a “rotten” score on RTwriting, “The new characters we get just aren’t compelling enough to wallpaper over the fact we’ve lost, or neutered, the old characters we loved last time around.”

By contrast, Paradise Season 1 earned an 86% “fresh” critics’ score on RT based on 81 reviews. The RT Critics Consensus for Season 1 reads, “Teeming with heady concepts and themes, Paradise is an overstuffed but addictively ambitious reunion of Sterling K. Brown and creator Dan Fogelman.”

Paradise Season 1 earned an 84% “fresh” Popcornmeter score based on 500-plus verified user ratings.

Paradise Season 2 begins streaming with Episodes 1-3 on Monday on Hulu on Disney+.
