‘FROM’ Season 4 MGM+ Release Date Revealed Along With Creepy New Trailer
The most-watched TV show in MGM+ history is set to return, and the premiere is only a couple months away. FROM fans can finally get a glimpse at what fresh new hell awaits the residents of Fromville in Season 4.
The Man in Yellow is backand spookier than ever. “What happens next,” he says, grinning, “Is my favorite part.” His grin turns into a hungry smile. If that doesn’t make your skin crawl, nothing will. The trailer cuts to Julie screaming.
The words “Knowledge comes at a cost” are painted onto a barn wall. We get quick flashes of most of the main characters as the teaser trailer speeds by. Only snippets of dialogue accompany the visuals. “Mom?” Julie says, fear in her voice.
“If we push too hard,” Boyd says, “Something will push back.”
The only character I don’t recognize in the trailer is this blond, bespectagled young woman, who appears to be praying:
At one point, an arm grabs Boyd from beneath the ground, though whether this is a human trying to get free or one of the Monsters – or something else entirely – remains a mystery.
FROM returns with its Season 4 premiere on April 19th, with weekly episodic releases following. I’ll be reviewing weekly here on this blogso be sure to follow!
FROM follows a group of seemingly normal people trapped in a mysterious town full of nightmarish creatures, diabolical terrors and a deep mystery involving child sacrifice, reincarnation, time-travel and so much more. At the end of Season 3, I posted my own theory on what’s going on in Fromville. Certainly we learned a great deal in the Season 3 finalethough plenty of new questions arose. The fourth season will be the penultimate, with the show officially wrapping up at the end of Season 5.
The horror series was created by John Griffin. Jeff Pinker showruns, with Jack Bender in the director’s chair. The official Season 4 description reads:
In Season Four, the closer the residents of town get to the answers they seek, the more terrifying their search becomes. Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want? Will Jade and Tabitha’s revelation be the key to finally going home? How much longer can Boyd hold the town together, even as his body and mind are falling apart? And what role will the town’s most recent arrival play in the events to come? Season Four will open doors that some in town will end up wishing had remained closed.
The series stars Harold Perrineau (Lost) along with Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace, The Affair), Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers), Hinah Cheramy (Under Wraps, Van Helsing), Simon Webster (Strays), Ricky He (The Good Doctor), Chloe Van Landschoot (Charity, Skin), Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls), Pegah Ghafoori (The Perfect Wedding), David Alpay (Castle Rock), Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice), Avery Konrad (Honor Society), Scott McCord (East of Middle West), Nathan D. Simmons (Diggstown, This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Kaelen Ohm (Hit & Run, Eumenides Falls), Angela Moore (A Series of Unfortunate Events, Maid), A.J. Simmons (Reacher), Julia Doyle (Astrid And Lilly Save The World), Robert Joy (CSI: New York) and Samantha Brown (Y: The Last Man).
What do you think is going on in FROM? Let me know your fan theories on Twitter, Instagramor Facebook. Hopefully Season 4 fixes some of the problems with the past seasonsthough my number one wish is that Amazon would release the show on Prime Video instead of burying it on MGM+or at least the first three seasons.
