Jordan conducted airstrikes on drug dealers in Syria Tuesday in the latest sign that the drug war on the Jordan-Syria border is escalating.

Reuters reported that Jordanian jets conducted four strikes in the country. Three strikes targeted drug dealers in Shaab and Arman, located near the Jordanian border in the Suwayda province. The fourth strike hit a farm near the town of Malah, according to the outlet.

The local news outlet Suwayda24 reported on the strikes and posted footage of the aftermath in Malah.
