  • Final date to issue Umrah visas is March 19, 2026 (1 Shawwal 1447 AH).
  • Last arrival date is April 2, 2026, with an absolute departure deadline of April 18.
  • No visa extensions are granted, regardless of original 90-day validity.

Saudi authorities have confirmed the final administrative deadlines for the 2026 Umrah season preceding the Hajj pilgrimage.

The last date for issuing Umrah visas will be Thursday, March 19, 2026which is expected to correspond with the 29th or 30th of Ramadan1447 AH.

All pilgrims must enter the Kingdom no later than Thursday, April 2, 2026 (15 Shawwal 1447 AH). A strict and final departure deadline has been set for Saturday, April 18, 2026 (1 Land of anger 1447 AH).

No extensions will be granted beyond the April 18, 2026 departure date. This policy ensures the holy city of Makkah is fully cleared of Umrah pilgrims to allow for final logistical and spiritual preparations for the Hajj season.

The rule applies universally, even to pilgrims holding visas marked with a standard 90-day validity; the seasonal closure overrides individual visa terms.

The next Umrah season for the Islamic year 1448 AH is projected to reopen in mid-June 2026, shortly after the conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Prospective pilgrims are urged to complete their visa applications well in advance of the March 19 issuance cutoff and to plan their travel schedules strictly within the announced arrival and departure windows to avoid complications.
